  2. I'm so glad you referenced that! I remember reading about president Wilson observing that the movie helped "prevent mixing blood"... It shocked and disgusted me that he felt that way, but D.W. Griffith thought he was being generous by telling reporters that black were "children" to whom white people condescendingly "helped". I find that attitude just breathtakingly bad. Can't stand it, honestly.

  4.  @MrCopperpott  There are people like that, sure. But there is always going to be people like that. Almost all prejudice is motivated by fear....a lot of folks don't have problem, it just seems like "everyone" because you have access to the entire planet online....
