This reminds me of Kobe Bryant's pilot mistaking his direction and crashing full speed into the ground. My dad was a small plane pilot in the Bay Area and he was extremely careful, and we flew together several times. We once saw a plane practicing stalls and completely screwing it up, the pilot almost crashed into a mountain and was obviously panicking. He didn't crash, but watching it take place was terrifying because we couldn't do anything but watch....I thought my heart was going to burst from fear, just watching...

We were living in LA and I was taking a bath, when all the water in the tub suddenly turned into a wave! We were in a very old, small apt. bldg. which swayed horribly. I jumped out and we could watch the news while trying to get hold of family. My dad took the freeway every day for 20 years, and had retired the year before, so he was not commuting anymore, thank goodness, saved his life.
