You're not kidding, my husband has been home sick and the only channel he's had on is playing every single Fast & Furious movie, one after the other....(which is actually the same movie over and over with ever more meaty actors and more expensive cars....) I've spent all day to the squealing of car tires, explosions, manly one liners and dramatic orchestra music mixed with family friendly rap. Cable is dead.

  3. I love this guy!!! I first read about him as a kid, before I even knew what a con man was...this dude was a completely, seriously, self made personage. He didn't have the inclination to be like the boring rest of humanity. I always felt that in a later era he would be managing Lou Reed at CBGB's....or running the bordello in Dawson, Alaska during the gold rush...or perhaps lunching with Wilson Mizner at Madison Square Garden in the 50s....he transcends time and space.
