  1. I live in Texas and at least 21 people have been shot and 5 killed in Odessa, Texas. Several police officers have been wounded, and the shooter was shot and killed. There are no details yet, except that a white male in his 30s hijacked a mail carrier truck and began randomly firing at people. Odessa is still on "lockdown" since no one knows if anyone else is involved. I mentioned the race of the shooter because that's what the news story said, not for any political reasons. If you can, please honor these poor folks in your own way, and let's try to support those around us with compassion.

  2.  @jonthehermit8082  That's all you take away from this terrible loss of life? You couldn't resist making your point. Now that you've made it, do you think that you can spare a thought that is NOT about race, or politics, or whatever conspiracy you're so anxious to expound on, and think about the murdered men and women? How heartless can you be if the only thing you can react to is whether you get to pound home your racial bias? How can you care about that at this time? Are you even human?

  3.  Derrick Flyr  I did not hear any reports of two or more shooters. It was FEARED that there MIGHT be more, and steps were immediately taken to secure people, etc. in case there were. There have not been any reports of multiple shooters so far, just worries that it was possible. I think you are reacting to the precautions taken, not the actuality of the situation. However, its obviously still a working crime scene.

  4.  @jonthehermit8082  Unlike you, I don't care about race, or spend my days anxiously tabulating who is labeled, why and how often. Has it even occurred to you that you might actually try to NOT label people by skin color? Or obsess about whether other people do? I can't believe your ranting about media conspiracies anyway. There are plenty of documentaries about how the press has always been used to manipulate public opinion, steer politics, control the stock market, etc. Everyone has known about it for the last 300 years in America, but you act like you just discovered someone's keeping gold in Fort Knox... try to catch up.
