  8.  @AS-qg1xu  Very little, its being managed by Sunnnnlife. If Canada can afford welfare and the guaranteed income supplement , they could cancel both, in favor of UBI. Have to be in the country for 5 years, household income less than 25k, Be over 18 years old. Would be automatic based on your tax return. Like GST, or Child benefits. The money saved on welfare offices and staff alone would cover the cost. Did you know a couple with 3 kids get approx $1200 a month from CCB? Where does that money come from? or the $1400 low income seniors receive on top of CCP, and OAS. Crime will get worse if we don't help the poor. Its just that simple.

  15.  @AS-qg1xu  Min wage is 30k a year. A person can't live on that. UBI is only for individuals and couples that make less than 25k. No more welfare. Those dollars get spend back into the economy and greatly reduces homelessness, poverty and government spending. .. Is everybody sitting on welfare right now? There's also free dental care now. Low income senors already get GIS which is basic income.

  16. @ Seniors now get "guaranteed income supplement" (GIS), doesn't mean people are not going to save for retirement now, lol, .The Canadian dental plan is better than nothing.
