  1. Make sure you take it to trial. Its not the ticket that will get you in Canada, it will be your car insurance when you renew next year. If everybody took these kind of tickets to trial, the superiors would tell their officers to stop with this crap. Had the samething happen in the summer, the prosecutor offered to lower it in half, nope, going to trial over a $105 ticket.
