  1. Raise interest rates! May hurt for a few years, but it will solve the "low inventory" issue. Like, who sells when real estate increases 25% year over year. There is no incentive for the boomers and elderly to sell. Or step aside to allow the younger generation to have a chance. RAISE INTEREST RATES!!!! PROBLEM SOLVED! Not only with the housing issues but with rent as well.

  2. Interest rates are at zero, what do you expect. The housing market will stay the way it is, until they raise the interest rates.
