Look at what happened in the U.S in 2008,,,It didn't happen in Canada because they lowered the rate by a full point an d used media to control the thinking. " Best time to buy" Everytime they lowered the rate, real estate prices would jump by 25%. Now a 1956 bungalow is 850K, which is way out of wack from what people earn. A young couple has no chance. RAISE INTEREST RATES! PEOPLE WERE WARNED> THE BUBBLE COULD NOT LAST FOREVER> only people buying up to now are the rich, why not when they get 25% per year on their money.
