They will say anything to get people buying again,,,. Lots of rich folks losing lots of money on their investments, which are now the houses we live in. There will be a generation that will refuse to spend their entire life paying off a house. lol The majority of the people willing to pay those prices are those from economies which are booming, or that can manipulate their currency exchange rate, like China. If you're not a permanent resident of Canada you should not be able to buy real estate here. Period.
