After congress has gotten back from two weeks off for Easter, now they have three days to hammer out a budget deal to fend off a government shut down. What the hell are they doing taking two weeks off for Easter when there's so much work to be done? I don't know anybody that gets two weeks for Easter. I bet Trump worked on Easter Sunday, even if he was at his FL home.

  3. I never expected Trump to get things done over night. I don't even expect him to be able to keep every promise. He's basically on the right track, no pun intended. We need to have a little patience. I'm sure it will take several administrations to implement all of his plans.

  8. We're not obsessed with a wall, we're obsessed with a viable solution to illegal immigration after decades of neglect by our own givernment. Once again I ask you what is your solution to keeping out illegals? Cutting off all social benefits might be a good start.

  9. Trump stated during his campaign he would deduct the cost from Mexico's foreign aid. He has stated that again more recently. We could have built 10 walls with all the money that's been frittered away on proxy wars in the Middle Est as illegal immigration here at home went totally unaddressed by that past three administrations. We have to start somewhere cleaning up the mess in DC. If we front the money and collect later, that's OK with me.

  10. It would be a great public works project along with rebuilding the rest of the country's infrastructure which is badly needed. It's too bad we've frittered away trillions on senseless proxy wars in the Middle East. that money could have been well used elsewhere.
