  2. Electric cars are probably going to fizzle, but not before enormous amounts of propaganda and public money are invested in foisting them off on us. Among the practical problems not yet addressed are uniform recharging connections. The question of the pollution associated with producing the electricity and manufacturing the lithium batteries is, for some reason, not in the forefront of the debate. I guess it doesn't advance the narrative.
