  1. I don't see how the affected jurisdictions' politicians can object. If illegality is desirable and beneficial, why wouldn't they want to do all they can to promote it? In fact, that's what they are doing, except without getting bogged down in inconvenient details, such as the cost. Local taxes would certainly have to rise, but I'm sure the jurisdictions' citizens won't mind paying them, or putting up with a bit of crime and cultural "readjustment." Yes, the Trumpster is definitely on to something.
