The protesting against Mr. Trump's victory reveals the degree to which the left has succeeded in brainwashing society. Let's remember that this has been going on for decades. There are two generations that have been inculcated with the ideas of political correctness, victimhood, rampant injustice, rampant racism, institutionalized discrimination against women, sexism, homophobia and much else besides. White men are the culprits. The world, according to the left, is a fearsome place full of danger from within and without, and only the government can protect and guide us. The mindset reached its zenith and, ironically, its nadir, with the election and re-election of Barack Obama. As this election proves, however, not everyone drank the liberal Kool-Aid. Mr. Obama wanted to turn the country into a Third World workers' paradise where everyone is equal, no one excels or gets rich (except the leadership elite), and above all everything is fair, especially for favored groups. He not only failed––he triggered a stunning backlash. He will be remembered as a misguided incompetent, a man with a flawed vision, filled with resentment, who couldn't understand why the world would refuse to see and do things his way. As for the juvenile protestors who are throwing public tantrums in liberal strongholds, eventually they'll get tired, or hungry, and go home to vent their frustration to their friends on Facebook. It is supremely ironic to me that a college education in our times leads not to a degree in some specialty but to a degree in ignorance and self-centeredness.
