It's not just BLMs doing all of that. It's social justice warriors in general as well as democrats presently holding government positions. They're making fools of themselves and scuttling their own ship. I can't wait to watch it sink once and for all.

Did they vote for Clinton? I don't remember which way Illinois went. I guess with Chicago, they certainly must be a leftist state like NY, CA and VA.

New York and CA have the same problem. If you look at a geographic breakdown of the states you will see NY is predominantly red but the city-state of NYC throws the entire state to the left. The same applies to CA. Geographically about 2/3s of the state is red but Los Angeles and San Francisco overpower it. This is why we have an electoral college so these two areas, plus DC and Silicon Valley, don't decide for the entire nation who will be president. I also question the validity of Hillary winning the popular vote.

Large city-states will throw the entire state one way or the other. Fortunately, the electoral college prevents them from deciding for the entire nation, but something should be done about large urban population centers deciding where all of the state's electoral votes go..

This is why states in such a position should not give all of their electoral votes to one candidate. On election night I hoped VA would go red just on principle and as a slap in the face to Clinton and her running mate who's name I've already forgotten! :-) You're right: Blacks and DC are a big problem for VA. NY has the same situation with NYC. CA has it with Los Angeles and San Francisco.

It would have been such a kicker if VA had gone for Trump despite Kaine. That's what I was hoping for, but we didn't get that lucky. As it was Trump carried 37 states; not too bad for someone expected to lose big time.
