  1. My wife and I watched our calorie intake and exercised by walking several miles a day and/or riding our bicycles. This is how we got through the shamdemic. I lost 15 pounds also by cutting out all fast foods, soda and candy. Not that I don't still like those things, but it's not that hard to resist with a little will power. Eventually you lose your taste for it.

  3. To be honest, a person know give me brown eggs from their farm, but I dot' like brown eggs. I like white. So I thank him then pass them along to another friend who likes brown eggs. So I'm still guilty of store bought eggs.

  6.  @violetfem1808  I've quit a lot of it but still allow myself some in a cup of tea or on cereal, but a small amount. I've cut out all candy, sodas and fast foods. Lost 15 pounds by hardly trying.

  8. It's always about the money. People don't want local taxes raised for services so they'll pay higher income tax to the federal government instead. No difference.

  9. Hindsight is always 20-20. You grow old too soon and smart too late. It plagues almost every human. You trade your youth for experience but some people never learn. Look at all the liberal idiots in their late 70s and early 80s presently serving in DC.

  13. I never got started. That's even easier. Same for cigarettes. I dont have to worry about quitting. From what I've seen, it's really difficult, if not impossible.
