  1. Chris Wallace, who's never come across as a huge fan of Donald Trump, stated emphatically that Trump cemented his position as POTUS last night. "Like him or not, he's the president, and you better get used t it," or words to that effect. Even Pelosi, Elijah Cummings and Liz Warren had to applaud his speech on a few occasions. He was interrupted 94 times with applause and standing ovations, a few of which even the democrats had to join. Veterans and police were among the segments that got standing ovations from democrats. The standing ovation for Owen's widow is believed to have set a record. Overall, the behavior of the democrats at the joint meeting of congress was embarrassing. Several showed up in white jackets supposedly something to do with women's suffrage implying how misogynist Trump is. Thumbs down on Obamacare was childish. They're lack of applause or standing in many instances was disrespectful at best. The democrats will try their damnest to put a negative spin on his speech and not concede a win for Trump, but they'll have a hard time doing it. 10 democratic seats are up for re-election in the next midterms in states that voted for Trump. Look for the party to lose even more seats in congress soon. Trump stated it's time for us all to pull together for the common good. We shall see if the democrats cooperate. We'll do it with or without them.
