  1. We need to take care of our own before anyone else. We have plenty of dirt poor people right here who don't have a home or enough to eat.

  2. If we do anything militarily, which I disagree with, whatever the cost should be deducted from what we're spending in the Middle East or any other place we have proxy wars taking place. There should be no expansion of military presence on the part of the United States anywhere in the world. We're never in and out quickly. Haven't we learned that in Iraq, Vietnam and Korea?
