  9. I get a letter in the mail this week from the IRS in Texas that a second $1200 stimulus should be received within 7 days. Then it says I can check my status on a web site that's "not being updated anymore" since Jan. 29. I haven't the slightest idea what they're talking about. I wonder how much taxpayer money was wasted on all those letters?

  30. i paid off a tax bill in August. The check cleared my bank in less than a week, was clearly marked "account payoff" but it took until November for them to figure out I no longer owed any money. I received letters from 4 different locations of the IRS around the country.
