EVs are an outrage environmentally and in humanitarian terms. Lithium mining (often done by children or their impoverished parents) can consume two million gallons of water per ton to extract, draining the surrounding water tables. Battery fires, which occur spontaneously, are extremely difficult to extinguish, requiring as much as 6,000 gallons of water (the average fire truck holds 500). Lithium is highly toxic, so getting rid of the spent batteries is a major environmental concern. That the power grids around the world won't support tens of millions of electric vehicles is a trifling detail. But we won't worry about that, nor will the greenies.

@thewatcher5822 You're sadly mistaken if you think ICE vehicles are going the way of the dinosaur. It will be interesting to see what the trade in value is on an EV once the owner realizes he's been duped and wants to get rid of it.
