  1. Why did we build high-rise public housing projects? Because we love to waste taxpayer money. People at corrupt HUD don't know what they're doing. A huge complex of these in Newark, NJ, was ultimately abandoned torn down also at the expense of taxpayers.

  2. At least the mill still operates albeit in reduced capacity. In many cases the steel business is completely gone.
