I agree but what's your solution? Take money from those who have it until they are as poor as these people?

The democratic party has taken advantage of these people since at least LBJ. Blacks are another group used mainly for their voted. They never learn. After Hillary put her foot in her mouth by stating she was going to put them all out of work, you expected them to vote democratic?

Don't be angry with the rich. Be angry with congress and the IRS who has put all the loop holes in place that they take advantage of. If you found out at the end of the year you owe no taxes because of some IRS rule, I'm sure you'd take advantage of it, too.

I presume you think Hillary was a better choice? Guns don't kill. People do. How do you expect to round up 300 million guns so nobody has them anymore?

There's no doubt that corruption within the DNC stabbed Sanders in the back. Several people lost their jobs as a result, but Sanders was still knocked out of the box. That doesn't alter the fact he met with Obama and an hour later withdrew from the race and started supporting Hillary. That was despicable. We have yet to know for sure what went down in that meeting. He was either bribed or blackmailed. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall for that. I'd also like to know how Obama got Comey to stand down and not recommend indictment of Hillary in the face of overwhelming evidence against her. Once again, it must have been bribery or blackmail. The public deserves to know what happened.

I doubt Bernie could have beaten Trump but it certainly would have been a much more interesting campaign. Bernie was stabbed in the back by the DNC. I think whatever was discussed in his meeting with Obama should be made public. He was either blackmailed or paid off. Either way he turned his back on some 40 million supporters. I'm surprised anyone would still give him credit for anything. In the end he was a sell out same as most "professional politicians."

Obviously Bernie's idealistic dreams didn't become reality. He shot himself in the foot and threw in the towel. Result: They both lost.

I hate Obama because he was a lousy president. Skin color had nothing to do with it. I voted for him twice and regret it. Thank heaven he's finally out of office.

I have no idea where your comment is coming from, but you're quite misinformed. Hillary made it crystal clear she would do nothing for the coal industry. With Trump we've got a shot at it. If this country is to attain energy independence, something that should be a national priority, coal should be part of the picture.

How sweet the Trump victory was!
3
I know that. I just said I voted for him both times. Some people act as if he's still president.

Butch: That's true, but why does the american public stand for such behavior on the part of its politicians? Millions of people still voted for her.
1
Perhaps, but who's going to pay for it?
1
So did I. I'm sorry I did now.

I'm elated to hear the trains run all day long and things are picking up. Let's keep up the momentum! At least we now have a president sympathetic to your industry.

There's no way you can run for president without being rich or having a huge amount of donors. Hillary blew 1.2 billion dollars on her campaign and still lost. Trump spent less than half that amount. Who was the smart one?
1
You expect the moon on a stick in 90 days. that's totally unrealistic. It's way too early to judge his administration.
1
Yes, it is a good thing he's not a politician. That's why he was elected.

Perhaps Trump put a few of these people in to show a spirit of cooperation? That's more than the democrats have shown him. I'll admit, he shouldn't have done it. You cannot trust any of them. If you try to reach across the aisle, you'll get stabbed in the back.

I made the mistake twice. I'll admit it. Never again.
