We'll have to roll the dice on the GP and hope for the best. I'm not happy at the prospect of McCarthy becoming speaker of the house. He's already stated earlier this year "It won't be the intention of the republicans to impeach Joe Biden." I want it to be of top priority if there's a changing of the guard.

They're congressmen doing what they should be doing, which is fighting to end the mistreatment of the American people by their elected representatives. McCarthy wins out in the end on the grounds that he'll be hogtied by his MAGA adversaries. I'd rather have not seen him named speaker. That he voted for the "omnibust" bill is enough to sour me on him, aside from his history of compromising with the Democrats.

  15. We have been completely betrayed by our government at the federal level and in the case of blue states the state level too. There are a few good men in the Congress and the Senate, but without enough clout to expunge the rot or influence policy. That Biden was not impeached in his first months in office tells the whole story. The government wants what we're seeing done. It's them against us, with us financing them.
