  2. We lived on Meander Lane in Levittown from around 1950 to 1956 and went to Jones Beach often. It was my parent's first house. I don't know what it cost. I was only 6 when we moved to Morristown, NJ. I do remember the house in Morristown on a corner lot with 2-1/2 baths, 4 bedrooms, basement, 2-car garage, living room, dining room, eat in kitchen, family room: $24,000. It was a big upgrade from Levittown.
