  1. When I saw the aftermarket gauges and tach in place of the radio I figured it was a 12 volt conversion. Plus the way it cranked over. A lot of people put later model steering boxes in these as the originals were like steering with flat tires in the front. It sounds a little throaty so I assume the exhaust isn't stock, either. I liked no music or talking. It was a nice Sunday drive. All you need to hear is the car. I liked the turn signals clicking, too.
