  5.  @krishanrathi9119  You conveniently left out all the other parts of the bill that have nothing to do with infrastructure and the fact most of it is NOT going for what you itemized here. As far as electric vehicle charging stations, what a waste of money! No one has, or wants, electric vehicles. Those charging stations will sit mostly unused as testimonial another colossal waste of taxpayer money.

Do you know how much fossil fuels are needed to manufacture wind mills and batteries for these cars? Do you know what a replacement battery costs for, say, a Tesla? Around 10 grand. They have to be replaced periodically, too. The Model X tips the scales at 100 grand. The cheaper Model 3 is a mere 50 grand or so. Range is 2-300 miles then you need an 8 hour charge. Try going anywhere like that. Look on ebay sometime and see how many Teslas are for sale by people trying to get rid of them. I'll stick with internal combustion. If people want electric cars, they should be able to buy them. Not have them shoved down their throats. Let the market decide. Not government.
