  4. Estella Vaiz We live in nasty times, and the presidential campaign reflects that. Trump may be outrageous in his rhetoric, but he’s truthful, except when he opens his mouth without having the facts, which is different from deliberate lying. Clinton and Obama are polished and diplomatic, but they’re both corrupt, and now openly so. They lie. The tolerance of this corruption and deceit by the mainstream press and, apparently, a significant number of voters is very troubling. We can only credit it to willful ignorance in the case of the voter, or indifference. Yes, I know the woman is corrupt, but I don’t give a shit. The press has no such excuse. They know they’re endorsing corruption. Their rationale is Trump. Better a corrupt Clinton than an honest him. That sort of thing can cost us and our children and grandchildren our liberty, if not our lives.
