  2. Of course it's gaining momentum in the democratically-controlled House. When will someone come up with a workable way to pay for it? That's always left out. All the ACA did was impose a tax on people with jobs to pay for the ones that have no healthcare. Many of those people don't have healthcare either, as they can't afford it. So they're penalized for something they can't afford anyway. That makes sense. Government should stay the hell out of healthcare as well as many other aspects of people's lives. That's the real solution. Just by virtue of its bureaucratic, inefficient, wasteful structure, government can't get anything done efficiently.
