I don't understand the low ratings. What the hell do people want? How are these low numbers being generated? How is the media cooking the numbers?

Congress certainly is quite dis-functional and has been since way before Trump came to office.

It was fair to get mad at Obama for a laundry list of things: Drone strikes in syria, ACA, Iran Nuke Deal, appointing HRC as SOS, failure to do anything for poor inner city blacks, travelling around the world apologizing for the nation he was elected to lead, souring relations with Israel. etc. I'm sure there's more, but that comes to mind immediately. His administration has been hailed as one of the most corrupt in the nation's history. a lot of that dirty laundry is coming out now in the DOJ and FBI. Oh, yes, the Lois Lerner scandal in the IRS. I just remembered that. I voted for Obama twice in the wake of W, another total jerk. Both presidents were at best bitter disappointments. We won't even get into rapist Bubba Bill.

He got plenty of black votes. I can tell you that. I know he's no saint, but he's doing a terribly difficult job for free and honestly wants to help everyone in the country, even those who don't support him. It will take time. No one can clean up the mess in DC overnight. Trump didn't run for POTUS to fail or quit. he'll stick it out and make a difference. I don't understand why so many blacks think a rich white woman would be their savior. They keep voting for democrats who do nothing for them but meager welfare programs. What Jared Kusher and Michael Flynn allegedly did is nothing compared to Obama's flagrant misuse of the law amf Bush and Clinton.

That comment was intended to mean the democrats have done nothing for the blacks except use them for votes. The only reason the room was all white is because no blacks would turn out to hear what Trump had to say. They immediately close their minds to anyone that isn't a democrat although we saw some change in that last year. Everyone could benefit under Trump if they'd simply stop fighting him.

Does anyone think about how much Trump pays in real estate and income taxes to New York City alone? If that's not helping, I don't know what is. Plus he's supported many democrats running for office, including Hillary Clinton. Trump is basically a business democrat, but few people seem to realize that. He put puts different spin on his way of doing things, but he's not a true democrat or republican. He's carved out his own brand of politics. Rich white people were hardly his base supporters. I know people from all walks of life who support him including blacks and Hispanics.

Don't give up on Trump. He may just do what you think or you may find yourself earning enough money so rent isn't a problem. Rents are high not just in NYC. I'm surprised more people from NYC don't support their home town boy. They should be proud a local guy made it all the way to president.
