  2. If a member of congress gets himself in a jam, let him foot the legal bills. Even at that the taxpayer still foots the bill as these guy's salaries are all funded by taxes. Democrats don't care if their members are corrupt. They expect them to be and think it's perfectly OK to operate that way.
