  4.    Both were persecuted not for any crimes, real or otherwise, but because of their association with Trump. Manafort's money laundering pre-dated the Trump Admin. by a decade. Roger Stone did nothing to warrant 26 FBI agents raiding his home in the wee hours of the morning, including a boat at the dock outback, complete with CNN conveniently happening ot be on the scene. It was all BS and a waste of taxpayer money. Manafort did nothing to warrant solitary confinement in the hopes he'd lie about Donald Trump, which he didn't. It's all going to come out in the pending investigation and the heads that deserve to roll will do so, or at least some of them. This is why they deserve to be pardoned. Whether you like Trump or not, the attempted coup to take him out is unprecedented in US history and a national embarrassment, to say the least.
