The wake up call will be for dems when they lose again in the Fall. Apparently Hillary's defeat wasn't enough.

Believe that if you like, but the Fall midterms will tell the story. Don't become too confident. Why are people getting tired of lower unemployment, job creation and a booming stock market? Trump haters make these blanket statements with no proof.

Jorge Ituarte: A win by a fraction of a point, so small as to almost be a tie, is hardly a "blue wave." Liberals are always delusional and in denial. They're not playing with a full deck. It's impossible to have a rational, civil discussion with them about anything. The republicans will increase their seats in congress this fall, then we'll have a super majority and be able to do anything as democrats continue to behave like spoiled brats that didn't get their way.

If Trump paid a second visit to the district, I'd bet Lamb would have lost.

I've been hearing that since the election in 2016. I'm still waiting to see it happen. Your comment is what I hear from all Trump-haters. I think the real dreamers are you guys, not DACA.

It's too soon to predict anything. The 2018 midterms will tell the story. If the economy continues to do well with job creation and low unemployment, why would anyone complain about that?

They may want him out, but they won't get their wish. Wait and see. Lower taxes, great stock market, lower unemployment and job creation in a little over a year and still moving ahead. Why would anyone want him out? If the economy continues to do well under Trump, and there's no reason to think otherwise, he's not going anywhere and democrats should be damn glad of it.

Bracky: Virginia was already a democratic governor; no gains there. Alabama and PA were by margins so slim as to almost be a tie, especially in PA. That's hardly a stellar democratic performance or the start of a "blue wave." Had Trump visited PA one more time, Lamb probably would have lost. There was a huge uptick in his opponent's support after Trump visited. One more trip might have done it. All that really matters is the Fall midterms. If anyone's a kiss of death it's Hillary to the DNC. They'd better find a way to get rid of her.
