  16. In the end Russia will crush Ukraine, but at what political cost, if any, to Putin? Lindsey Graham is out of his mind publicly advocating assassinating him. If the invasion of Ukraine precipitates his downfall, which is unlikely, it'll be because the oligarchs orchestrated it, a strictly internal matter. It's worth recalling that toppling a man like Putin (or a Saddam Hussein) doesn't necessarily improve the prospects for world peace.
