The democrats want to impede everything Trump tries to do. If Obama made the same proposals they'd be onboard in a second. It's all about Trump and to hell with the American people. These jerks weren't sent to DC to gum up the works of government.

@aden7330 75% of the government is still operating. You won't even see any difference with the small amount that's shut down, which probably should remain shut down. What other business can you think of that employs 800,000 "non-essential" people? Democrats don't want the immigration problem solved. It's been going on for decades. What other country in the world has tens of millions of illegals roaming around inside its borders? Democrats love having the huge wedge issue to complain about and the hopes all the illegals will vote for them some day. All they care about is money, votes and power. To hell with what the people want. I don't understand why supporters of the party can't see that.

@ted johnson Trump's not lying. congress is ineffectual and has been since way before trump took office. Why do the American people stand for it? That's what I'd like to know: Pushback from the voters but we need a lot more. It's why trump was elected.
