  3. Since Newsom is the face of all that's wrong with the party, that makes him the perfect candidate for POTUS in their minds. Democrats are delusional and totally detached from reality. Newsom's record as mayor of San Francisco and governor of CA is at best dismal. He's a shining example of how a person can successfully "fail up" at the expense of taxpayers. People keep voting for him.
