  1. In a few days we'll know the outcome of his direct confrontation on stage with Clinton (debate is unlikely to be the term for it) . I'm sure Trump will know when to stay silent and let her bury herself. If, that is, she doesn't cancel to continue her program of rest and staying out of the public eye. We can probably be sure that whatever it is that's ailing her they'll have her heavily medicated and with her earpiece in place to receive prompts if she gets befuddled. Presumably Tim Kaine will be on hand, too, to take over, if the candidate has to leave the stage for an extended bathroom break, or a ride in the ambulance.
