  2. Let's create a hypothetical situation for the sake of discussion. Supposed Merrick Garland was just about to be confirmed to SCOTUS. At the 11th hour, a woman comes forward, via a female senator, and alleges Garland inappropriately interacted with her at a party in HS almost four decades ago. This woman doesn't have any proof to substantiate her allegation, can't remember any details, but claimed something happened. Would she immediately be believed by every democrat across the nation? Would there be a senate hearing at her convenience? Would there be calls for an FBI investigation? Would there be demands to put the confirmation vote on hold indefinitely? Would Garland be called a serial rapist and totally disqualified to serve on SCOTUS by the MSM, talk shows and the likes of Chuck Schumer? Just wondering.

  4. Not if you're a democrats and the accusations are aimed at taking down the president or anyone associated with him. In that case, false accusations are not a felony. They're proof positive the object of the allegation is a criminal.
