  1. Grassley should have refused to take Ford seriously, refused to bend over backwards to accommodate her, and stood the heat. She has no right to be heard, much less to make conditions to the U.S. Senate. Now, exactly what the Left was trying to achieve has happened: They've delayed the confirmation hearings, contaminated them with sleazy allegations that large numbers of know-nothings will believe, and, in the meanwhile come up with another equally incredible accuser with whom they can dominate the gutter media's "reporting." Neither woman has specifics or witnesses. This second one, Ms. Rivera, even admits to having been drunk when Kavanaugh ostensibly threatened her with a dildo, or some such nonsense.
