  5. A house I drive by every day has chickens, guinea hens and ducks. They're often out in the road so I'm careful to slow down and not hit any of them. Sometimes I have to stop and wait for them to get out of the way. The only problem with chickens is they do suffer a high mortality rate at the hands of predators when allowed to roam free. Hawks and foxes pick them off pretty regularly.
