I'd like to see CA make it on their own sans federal funding. They brag they have such a robust economy. Why are they always in financial trouble?

Cut off their funding. The power of the purse is always the great equalizer. It's interesting Emanuel will not be blackmailed by the federal government as he breaks the law. What does he expect? He ought to be arrested. I wish Chicago and CA good luck. They're spinning their wheels and wasting everyone's time as democrats always seem to do these days. Illinois as a whole should be focused on its financial troubles rather than providing sanctuary to illegal aliens in one of their biggest cities. They can't afford it. This country can't afford it.
