  2. We have a rogue candidate, Trump, who against the odds wins again and again. On the other we have the RNC that wants at all costs to stop––the very candidate who is winning by a wide margin in the Republican primaries! It is doing all it can, in short, to deny the nomination to the man the voters want. Reince Priebus is starting to rival Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama for arrogance. He and his Republican power brokers know what's best, not the voters. True to form, Trump is benefitting from the disunity. The more he's attacked, the stronger he gets. Far be it from me to think that I have more political insight than Ted Cruz, but I believe the RNC is sending him on a fool's errand. If the Cruz-Kasich alliance were to succeed, surely Cruz doesn't imagine that Priebus and company would fall over themselves to nominate him. There's no honor among thieves. If the RNC contrived to steal the nomination from Donald Trump, why would they also not deny it to Ted Cruz, whom they despise? They want Kasich, who so far has been a virtual non-starter, paired up with Marco Rubio, who is a clear loser. This latest crackpot scheme isn't going to work. Trump is going to run the table, and the only way they can deny him his rightful reward is by chicanery. If they manipulate the rules or contravene them to block his nomination, the Republican Party is finished. What else may happen who knows? I wouldn't put it past Trump to start a third-party run as a write-in candidate––and win! It would be tantamount to a revolution.
