  4. Yes, Iv'e heard about Devil's Night. It's also called Mischief Night. It's ignorance and an excuse to justify vandalism, stupidity and lack of respect for other people's property. No wonder the town looks like this. It seems Devil's Night goes on 365 days a year in Detroit.

  5. There was a time when every one of these houses was lived in and well maintained. The vacant lots also held well kept houses. It didn't matter what race you were. It was a vibrant neighborhood of working people with money to spend. Notice the occasional house maintained and lived in as a few people are still able to hang on amidst all the carnage. As we spend trillions of tax dollars on senseless wars all over the globe, this is what's happening at home. It's not just Detroit, either. Take a look at Youngstown, OH, Irvington and Camden, NJ, Buffalo, NY and Flint, MI to name a few. You'll see much of the same thing.
