  1. It's astonishing to think Detroit's economy was once robust enough to support these neighborhoods. It shows how much has been lost. All the time, money and work that went into building them just to have it come to this? What a tragedy. I'm surprised at how close together many of them are, even the big brick and stucco places. A person could look right into a neighbor's house any time.

  2. It's really spooky at night; all those abandoned houses sitting in darkness. Not enough street lights but I read many have been put back in service. There were even less not long ago.

  4. 1950 was Detroit's peak year for population. It wasn't too bad through 1960, then really declined.

  5. As idiots in DC push the Green New Deal all this litter and pollution sits right under our noses. I thought Detroit was getting better, but this looks as bad as 5 years ago. I've been watching Charlie Boo's videos, and others, for a long time.

  7. Some parts of Detroit still have the big old houses well kept and lived in. I think it's in a minority.
