  1. We can hope the fire and explosion dangers of EVs will eventually phase them out. Public awareness seems to be increasing but has a long way to go. Should the demand for cobalt diminish, what happens to these people? There are no easy solutions.

  2. As the elitists drive around in their $100,000 Teslas thinking they're saving the planet, how many know what goes into building them and the slave labor involved? Liberals are all pumped up over our slavery past in the USA but what's going on in Congo and China is OK. Typical hypocrites.

  4. Anyone with a brain knows EVs are a crock. Electric cars, besides the potential battery problems, are subject to the same maintenance requirements as any other car: Tires, brakes, suspension, and whatever electronic gadgets they have.

  5. With 260 million gas or diesel powered vehicles in the USA alone, EV production as noted here is hardly a replacement for the conventional car or truck. Fossil fuels will be the dominant energy source for decades to come, probably forever, as solar and wind won't provide the huge amounts of energy needed to power industry, such as these mining operations, among others.
