Prosecution's opening was strong. The defense opening will be stronger. George Floyd was a drug addict high as a kite the day he was arrested and close to cardiac arrest.

@MegaTouchy That's not what killed him. He died later in the hospital so full of drugs he was practically pickled. Suppose he wasn't pulled over and had a serious accident that killed other innocent people?

@MegaTouchy The police were following procedure. As you stated, the neck compression contributed, but was not the sole cause of death. The cop may get thrown under the bus as a bow to mob rule, but won't get a stiff sentence. Either way there will be riots and property damage. That always solves everything.

@MegaTouchy The procedure has since been stricken from the rule book, but at the time it was correct. By defending this drug addict with a criminal record as long as your arm you're also endorsing the billions of dollars of property damage done and people killed along with it. If you think that's ok, your'e entitled to an opinion, but won't alter the outcome of the trial.
