To add insult to injury, our fellow citizens voted for this creep by the tens of millions. It's a powerful argument that, after all, democracy doesn't work. I don't believe it (not yet at least), but I'd be hard-pressed to make a case for the ability of the average voter to do something as simple as vote his own interests.
