  1. Those balloons are unlikely to be weather balloons. They are more likely to be part of a First Strike Strategy. And they are testing the USA defences, etc. Its not a top secret. The PENTAGON know what's going on and so do the other western nations with an interest. This particular episode is probably China's way of saying to the yanks , keep out of our backyard or we can come to your front yard.
