  1. Is it really safe for Xi to go to the USA. The Pentagon is too hostile these days towards China. It would be a risk. And any thing could happen re the Ukraine and the Middle East. Things would need to improve dramatically in the next week or so. But the indications are that things are going to get much worse.

  3. We only need to go by the facts. The facts are; The USA is bankrolling the Ukraine to fight Russia. The USA is bankrolling Israel to fight Palestine. The USA will bankroll any one who can fight the progressive nations. China next maybe. The USA is the ultimate and last of the Capitalist / Imperialist empires. Its getting desperate. And desperate people do desperate things.

  4. Well 2 US aircraft carrier groups would probably mean a deterrence situation. 4 would likely be a big war scenario. There were 6 US carrier groups for the Iraq war. But that was about 20 years ago. Today the weapons systems have improved greatly so 4 would do to take on Iran and or Syria. Other ships would also be needed for logistical purposes etc. Each carrier group has about a dozen vessels on surface and below. They are the most advanced vessels in the World and the most powerful.

  5. Ā @No-timeforimbecilesĀ  the carriers are a platform for the warplanes. The warplanes are the real power of the carriers. The carriers will stay away from the coastline. Although they are still potentially sitting ducks for the latest Iranian missiles.
