But most manufacturing USA companies that are in Canada are there because they bought Canadian companies to erase competition and expend and profits from the energie advantage.…to make profits and taking those profits back into USA in their head offices and to give to their shareholders USA 1% rich people…they wont go back into USA they are already in USA…they do not care about workers…very Little amount went to Canada, mostly manufactures went into developping countries for cheap workers, they went else where because it was to costly to make goods in USA and stay competitive on the global market, consumers want low prices, Even Canada lost some manufactures….look, i am from Quebec and i have bought a winter coat Kanuk brand that was manufactured in Montréal they just closed the manufacture and send the work to China because the cost of fabrication is 50% less in China…Canada is not the bad Guy, Canada also have the same problems of USA. We have to find ways to make it work in the global economy and those tarifs wars are a stupid way to deal with both our economy.
