  1. I'm a Jaguar driver. I love mine and would buy another one. Think I'll go for an XJ next. I predict they will rise in value though, with the company's relentless push towards all-electric, which, if the Porsche Taycan's massive depreciation is anything to go by, I think would be a major mistake. That said, I do believe Jaguar should look to the future. They must attract newer younger buyers. But the mistake they have made is to despise the demographic that has built the company, in favour of a 'potential' demographic. Any marketing person would tell you that it's much easier to maintain the customers you have than to get new ones. Jaguar need to look to the future. yes, but bring people with them. They also need to make sure their vision of the future is something people actually want. I don't believe the brand is dead...yet. This was a very bad advert, no question. But they have got the whole automotive world talking. What will be key now is the 'follow-up' advert. That now has to be an absolute 'home-run'. Anything short of that, and I fear it could be curtains. It's probably worth noting that in a rush to seem 'inclusive', Jaguar has ironically 'excluded' the very demographic that built their brand.
