Refreshing to hear a fighter so honest and dignified in defeat. He clearly has the character to be an all time greats. It reminds me of when GSP lost to Mat Hughes then came back to win and go on to become a legend.

Now this is the way I like to hear champions talk. He gives maximum respect to his opponent and he's honest. Well done champ!

A nice look at Alexander who seems like a cool and humble guy but I was a little disappointed by Dan's obvious bias towards him.

Bear Grylls The second This is how he started off, then it was either success or him hyping the fights, not sure which, that made him seem horrid. I also think Jon Jones really got under hos skin and brought the worst out of him. But hearing his tribute the Alex just catapulted him in my estimation and I'm sure the whole of the MMA community. Now he sounds like a champ!

Everyone has their time to shine and then, in a moment it seems, it's gone, and it's time for someone else.

@swishersweets4679 no I meant Matt Hughes. GSP was a little and uncertain in his first fight and git beat. He trained and came back with more confidence and skill and totally dominated him.

Joe Rogan is without doubt the most knowledgable commentator of all time! If they made a Hall Of Fame for commentators he'd be the first inductee. He is the GOAT commentator!

Well if you thought he was arrogant and obnoxious before just imagine what he's gonna be like now! Can you imagine how much trash talking he's gonna do to Jose now! It will be unimaginable!

This show is hysterical! It's all about the jokes and the comradery you only get from good friends. Keep the chemistry and the feel the same and this show will be a big hit even if those who have no interest in fighting at all.

I used to really like Cormier but now I think he runs his mouth way too much. He seems to just create problems and court trouble for himself. Also when he won the belt rather than just thanking the people who got him there and giving his opponent credit for a great fight, he takes that time to call out Jon Jones. Why! Just enjoy your moment. Rumble Johnson on the other hand really accepted his defeat graciously and even opted to place the belt around Cormier's waist, a gesture that Cormier didn't even acknowledge. I think Rumble's the kind of champion the UFC needs. I hope he comes back better and stronger and in particular with much better cardio.

Wow, he's really 'hamming it up' for the camera. Hey ho, when life gives you lemons...

How does he get beat by Rumble (and beat quite badly too) then go on to fight for the title before Rumble get's a rematch?

He's not won enough or been around long enough to be spoken of in these terms...yet. We have champions that have reigned for a 'decade' that that never brought out quite this kind of praise. I guess he is Dana's 'great white hope', or simply his giant 'cash cow' it's all the same to him. His arm will be around your shoulder right up until you lose then your won't see him for dust. You better just keep riding the crest Conor coz I can't see it lasting.

***** But...if he can show that he can fight and be successful across such a range, such a wide spread of wight classes then maybe even I will have to concede that maybe he is in fact a little bit special. If only he had a modicum more humility I would warm to him but he has no respect and just seems all about the money. He talks like he's an owner in the UFC franchise!!! He needs to realise he's just a fighter that right now has the ability to sell tickets. 'Real' partners are not the ones punched in the face to earn there thousands, no, no, no. Real partners are the ones who wear the nice suits, stay clean and sweet, don't break a sweat and get paid the 'millions'.

...that said Matt's gotta calm his language down and be professional. In this show he's not just representing himself, he's also part of the face of the biggest martial arts organisation in the world.

There is something about 'praise' that most people find it hard to deal with. Before Jon as champion he was the most respectful polite individual you could ever meet; a few years in and it's like he's a whole different person. DC is rapidly going the exact same way. I used to really like the confident but quietly humble, clearly talented up and coming fighter. So here we are, a few years down the line and look what he's already become! Foul mouthed, calling people out etc. Clearly the belt has gone directly too his head! Now it will be interesting to see what becomes of Gustafson. Humble and respectful individual with tremendous talent. It will b interesting to see if or how he changes if he's successful against DC.

I want Verdum to win but fear Cain's relentless style and android like focus will win the day. I hope I'm wrong.

To be honest Mc Gregor sounds obnoxious and more than a little racist. If you want to call someone a 'bitch' at a press conference OK, shows no class but OK; but why do they have to be a 'Brazilian' bitch?

LOL! Bisping only got the nod because he was at home. Really, a unanimous decision...lol, come one!

I thought 'Boser' was Big Country and he's lost weight, no seriously!

Hearing Till speak Portuguese somehow raises him in my expectation

@swishersweets4679 no I meant Hughes. Wat h their first fight, then watch their second.
